The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of all production equipment and systems, as well as facilities maintenance. This will be accomplished by working within a team of maintenance professionals. The position is on 3rd shift in our Hendersonville, Tennessee plant, which is a precision machine shop operation.
Makes and repairs ordinary tools, fixtures, gages, and experimental parts under the close to moderate supervision of a more experienced and higher level employee. Needs to be self-starter and highly motivated to complete job requirements
Develops, plans, coordinates and implements a large and important manufacturing engineering project, or several projects of a smaller scale consisting of complex features. Develops, manages, improves processes, manufacturing flows, layouts and systems.
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance processes, procedures and standards. Drive quality improvements through root cause analysis and ensure products are manufactured in compliance with customer specifications, design specifications and safety standards. Support manufacturing operations and the Quality Management System in a high-precision production environment. Perform and participate in internal and external audits. Facilitate a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
