Performs all types of tool room work, which includes setting up and operating equipment required to perform assignment or task efficiently using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedure, toll charts, gauges, etc.
Responsibilities
Responsible for installation and maintenance of all equipment in plant using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedures, tool charts, gauges, etc.
May be assigned to do machine repair work when necessary and qualified.
Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment.
Capable of repairing pneumatics and hydraulics.
Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests.
Responsible for diagnosing and correcting trouble of all descriptions on equipment
Assists foreman in purchase of replacement or spare parts required
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Journeyman's card or 8 years of verifiable experience as a Tool maker is required
