- Operates multiple machines and does setup as directed by supervisor with assistance of set-up if needed, using blueprints, sequencing boards to determine job running order, IPK guidelines, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedures, tool charts, gauges, etc.-works to close tolerance, selects speeds and feeds and makes necessary control adjustments to complete or maintain a setup, and to recognize machine trouble and make appropriate adjustments.
- Performs all types of tool room work, which includes setting up and operating equipment required to perform assignment or task efficiently using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedure, toll charts, gauges, etc.
Supervises and guides building and facilities maintenance staff. Plans, prioritizes and tracks progress on machinery repairs, upgrades, and installations. Contracts and coordinates outside contractors as needed.

The Lab Technician prepares and performs a wide range of mechanical tests to evaluate product performance. These tests include structural, durability, and dynamics on valvetrain actuation components. Upon completion of the test the individual will disassemble, prepare, and analyze the subject components. Additionally, the Lab Technician supports general facilities maintenance.
This position is responsible for basic production of automotive valvetrain components working with machinery and hand tools.

General Function: Repair, and maintain dies, tooling, and fixtures to support production.
Job Duties:
- Troubleshooting of die issues, changing broken/worn tooling, preventative maintenance in the press and on the bench, completing job set ups on transfer and progressive dies.
- Set up and operate all tool room equipment, such as Mills, Grinders, and Lathes to machine parts.
- Assist production with problem-solving on tooling issues.
- Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools and dies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Working Conditions: Plant production is a precision stamping environment; working in and out of presses with tooling. Standing and walking up to 100% of work time. Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs to include; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and some stooping.
