    GT Technologies is a metal stamping manufacturing plant supplying automotive customers such as Ford, GM, Audi, Chrysler and Volkswagen.

     

    We are looking to hire a Quality Facilitator that plans, directs, develops, designs, and implements quality processes for manufacturing processes. Works with customers and suppliers in developing quality standards and resolving quality issues. Provides direct support to operations for identifying and resolving quality issues.

    Responsibilities

    Directs workers engaged in inspection and part layout activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

    Ensure all employees receive training in quality requirements, methods, and procedures.

    Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of existing Quality Systems.

    Responsible for documenting and controlling Control Plans, PFMEA’s, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.

    Monitors adherence and conformance to quality standards.

    Responsible for implementing and assisting in activities related to TS16949 Certification.

    Provide skills as member of the TS16949 Internal Audit Team.

    Ensure all employees receive training in quality requirements, methods, and procedures.

    Assist teams in developing effective quality measurements that can be used to drive continuous improvement, and communicating quality performance measurements to the teams and leadership

    Serve as a resource for team development and training.

    Responsible for all activities relating to Gage Control.

    Lead and assist all employees in the reduction of scrap and the improvement of First Time Quality

    Communicates and works with customer on quality issues.

    Responsible for coordination and monitoring of activities related to external/internal corrective actions.

    Responsible for the effective use and monitoring of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

    Work with Engineering to ensure process changes are not made without the correct notification process.

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) from four-year college or university with 5 years related experience; or will possess ASQ Certifications in two of the three fields: Quality Management, Quality Engineer, or Quality Audit, and have at least 8 years proven experience in the Quality field.  In addition, good computer skills, communication and organizational skills as well as a strong sense of dedication to detail and follow up.

    Equipment and automation skills – a working understanding of quality systems such as SPC, bar charts, failure analysis and quality standards such as IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 14001
